Africa is a diverse continent endowed with both human and natural resources. It represents a single market of 1.3 billion people across 55 countries. With the creation of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) – the world’s largest free trade area, the continent is creating a new path for economic growth and development.
Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF):
The Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) is a multi-industry platform to access an integrated African market and it is the most critical point of convergence for investors and individuals willing to do business in Africa.
Organized by Afreximbank and the African Union with a mission to promote inclusive economic growth and to accelerate regional and global market integration. The 1st edition of IATF in 2018 generated trade and investment deals worth over $32 billion from more than 1000 exhibitors and participants from 45 countries.
CITD-Miami supports all international trade-oriented activities such as the IATF, which is recognized as a gateway into the African single market, aiding access to a larger, unified, and expanded market of over one billion people.
